Any Known Memory Leaks ?

This is very hard to find out I know but I wanted to open this topic.

Do you suspect if there are any memory leaks in kraken ?

After I use it for 1 week, openfire goes beyond 600 mb. If I restart it, it goes back to hundreds.

I have around 100 users, which are always online (actually they are bots).

So restarting does not drop the load on openfire.

This openfire server is dedicated to kraken. (so there is no normal conversation on the server. all bots connect to openfire to connect legacy servers)

Anyone having a similar problem ?

I haven't done any profiling in a while to see what leaks there are -- I think there's at least one bug report about a leak though.  I would not be surprised if there are indeed some leaks.

I will be doing some memory profiling on my company's server, so I will investigate on that...

hey check out the announcement at igniterealtine.org in the community section. Something about 3.6.4 memory leaks

Thanks for the advice, will do.

I've just finished installing CA Wily Introscope on Openfire with Kraken. Will run it for couple of days and see what's going on with those leaks...
